This story takes place in Ancient Greece where it is rocky and mountainous. When Medusa was cursed she either lived or went to Ancient Libya were she stayed after becoming a monster. This all took place before fourteenth century b.c. when Perceus killed Medusa. Before the curse Medusa was a hand maiden for Athena. So she mostly lived either on Mt. Olympus, one of Athena's temples, or wherever Athena was or wanted her to be. So she would have lived on many island's like Crete, that where in the Mediterranean ocean. Also she would have spent a lot of time in Athena's patron city, Athens. She might have lived at the Pantheon at one point or another as well. It was mostly sunny and dry during the summer’s especially on low lying islands. Any rain that happens during the summer is either small showers or big thunder storms. Because of the dryness and lightning storms there are lots of fires. Most plants that live in Greece are classified as phyrophites. There plants that have adapted so that the like even need fire to survive. The Pantheon is defiantly the most important landmark because of its early before its time of construction and dedication to Athena. Also the extraordinary fact that it survived all these years is amazing!
